COMPANY KEEPS EXPANDING
Shredall Ltd provides fast and efficient shredding and destruction services
The Shredall Group was established in 1997, pioneering on-site shredding across the UK. Today, we are one of Scotland’s largest, independent, privately owned companies within the sector. We have successfully traded with more than
5,500 clients nationwide, disposing of confidential data, including paper, uniforms, IT equipment, hard drives and other magnetic media. Shredall Scotland Ltd is a well established,
thriving, family-run business with Scottish heritage. The company is continuously growing and we now operate a nationwide service from depots in Scotland, Nottingham and London, allowing us to cover the whole of the United Kingdom. Shredall Scotland is headed by
Scotland Confidential Operations Manager Brian McCulloch. He has a reliable, friendly team based in Lanarkshire and they service businesses and individuals in Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk, Livingston and Edinburgh with vehicles regularly routed into Aberdeen and Dundee among all other cities in Central Scotland and everywhere in-between. Shredall Scotland has serviced the whole of Scotland and areas in the north of England. Brian has worked in the industry for many years, pioneering mobile shredding in Scotland. In fact, he loves working in a family business so much that he has brought his two sons in to work for him. Brian and his team are all very passionate about what they do. “Our services can be tailor
made to suit your data needs, reducing costs, while ensuring your business adheres to the Data Protection Act,” he said. “Our years of experience have enabled our clients to put their trust in us. We are still happily servicing the same customers we started trading with many years ago.” He continued: “Legally everyone has to destroy
their confidential waste and failure to comply can lead to significant penalties of up to £500,000 for serious breaches. With identity theft rife in the UK and Europe, it is paramount that businesses select the right contractors and do not neglect to dispose of their confidential waste securely.” Brian works closely with Managing Director of
the Shredall Group, Lloyd Williams, and together their key roles are to see opportunity and make it reality. His team has pioneered in the sector always making them the leaders. They have a clear goal to keep growing in size through expanding the company’s range of services. As the company has developed new market sectors from its core business of on-site and off-site shredding, it has complemented that with launching an IT destruction service, including hard drive destruction, media destruction, x-ray destruction and product destruction. The sudden growth of Shredall Scotland
means that the confidential waste and recycling company is ever-expanding. Shredall Scotland has recently acquired a new on-site shredding machine, which has a shredding output of 2000kgs per hour in accordance with the European Standard for witnessed shredding at its customers’ doors. The 18-tonne mobile shredding machines are the most up-to-date on-site shredding machines in the world. Brian McCulloch said: “With the busy year we
have had, with each month getting busier and busier, we felt the need for another lorry. This comes just seven months after we bought a similar vehicle and another van to add to our fleet for the off-site collection services of materials that are then shredded back at our premises within 24 hours. All of these new additions have brought in new staff, extending our happy family.” Shredding on-site or off-site can be done on an adhoc or scheduled basis. Shredall Scotland’s vehicles visit your premises, at a predetermined time, and perform on-site shredding of your confidential paper or remove it to our premises for shredding. The on-site destruction process can be witnessed in the truck, if required, or off-site by a member of your staff at our premises and carried out by a Shredall Scotland operative. On completion of either shredding service,
Shredall will issue a certificate of destruction showing the weight and details of the collection. Our shredding machines are fast, cost effective
and environmentally friendly. Operating on less power than previous machines, they will greatly reduce emissions and electricity costs, falling in line with Shredall’s ISO14001 environmental commitments.
