BECCI HIGHLIGHTS HER FAVOURITE RECIPES IN THIS ISSUE…

Editor’s PICKS

What with features on seafood and butchers I have been spoilt for choice in this issue. While I have been eating a lot more vegetable based meals lately it is time for a treat with these delicious recipes…

To start PAGE 15 – GRILLED SOLE WITH TARRAGON BUTTER

This may seem extravagant but I would probably share as a starter if somebody asked nicely… This is fi sh how it should be cooked in my opinion - simple fl avours that allow the fi sh to remain the star of the show.

For main

PAGE 43 – SLOW COOKED SHORT RIBS I’m certainly not ignoring a recommendation that comes from Ian Warren. Short ribs or Jacob’s Ladder as they are often known are absolutely delicious and my mouth is watering at the thought of the rich gravy this recipe will produce.

For pud PAGE 26 – BLOODY ORANGE MARY

After something so rich you can hold the sweet puddings. Instead, this bloody orange mary sounds like just the thing to round off the meal. It might even go with some cheese if I get peckish!

If you try some of the recipes from this issue, do let us know how you get on. Send any comments or pictures to editor@foodlovermagazine. com - we might even feature you in the next issue!
