This program is designed to provide an increased understanding of the rapidly changing international legal environment. Students have the opportunity to take courses in areas, such as international business law, international trade, international human rights, international arbitra- tion, environmental law and more. Proficiency in a foreign language is required.
This program is designed to provide a basic understanding of the U.S. legal system to legal professionals who received their first law degree at foreign law schools. Students may focus on a specific interest, such as business organizations, intellectual property, or human rights. Alterna- tively, students may obtain a broad overview of U.S. law by enrolling in courses in a wide variety of subjects.
The Foreign Scholars LL.M. is a general course of study in which students select coursework from all areas of the Law Center’s strengths, including energy, environment and natural resources, health law, international law, intellectual property and information law and tax law.
