The LL.M. Program in International Human Rights welcomes individuals with a law degree from any country (including the US). The specialized curriculum, consisting of core and elective courses, provides a comprehensive study of the norms and mechanisms of international human rights law and international criminal law. Academics are enriched by activities of the Center for International Human Rights.

This LL.M. program is designed for graduates from non-U.S. law schools seeking to meet bar exam requirements of select U.S. jurisdictions. Students enjoy individualized academic and career counseling and the opportunity to become fully immersed in the academic life at Loyola. The rigorous curriculum provides a thorough training in legal skills criti- cal to advising clients in the U.S. and globally.

This LL.M. program allows students to design their own curriculum to suit their academic interests and professional goals. All of Loyola’s specialty areas – health, child and family, advocacy, business and tax, antitrust, and intellectual property law – have strong international com- ponents. Students also may develop their own focus under guidance of the international office and professors.
