Choose from fi ve tracks in our Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program:


The John Marshall Law School’s LL.M. Program in Global Legal Studies provides a flexible program of study for foreign lawyers who wish to have either a broad overview of U.S. law or a more in-depth knowledge of specific areas of the law. Students take several required courses and then may select courses from the JD and LL.M. curricular offerings. The GLS Program may be completed in two semesters.


• American Law for Foreign Lawyers – Get a solid foundation in U.S. law in the heartland of America.


The LL.M. degree awarded by the School of Law is a single degree con- sisting of five tracks, allowing for curricular concentrations in the areas described. The five tracks offered within the LL.M. degree are: American Law for Foreign Lawyers, Health Law Policy and Bioethics, Intellectual Property Law, International and Comparative Law, International Human Rights Law.


The Notre Dame Law School LL.M. in International and Comparative Law is designed for graduates of law schools from EU countries who seek additional legal training or who wish to pursue studies comparing their legal systems with those of the United States and Great Britain.
