The MCL is a 1-year program. Students spend their fall semester at the University of Mannheim, and then transfer to the University of Adelaide for the spring semester. After that, students submit their Master’s thesis. It provides students with the knowledge and the skills they need to succeed at international organisations, national governments, or international law firms.


Highly specialized, international and interdisciplinary one-year pro- gram. Courses cover all aspects of international, U.S., and European IP and competition law. Excellent study conditions: 30 students per year; shared office space with access to legal databases; full access to the IP library at the Max Planck Institute for IP; individual tutori- als. Program is fully accredited in Germany.


ILF offers a one-year graduate program in English leading to an LL.M. Finance awarded by Goethe University Frankfurt am Main to about 60 highly qualified graduates with a prior degree in law or business/ economics. Combines theoretical knowledge with practical training in law and international finance. A special two-month internship with international law firms, major banks and regulatory bodies.


Bucerius Law School and WHU jointly offer the one-year, English- language MLB Program. Based on a dynamic, interdisciplinary approach that combines strong academics with practical experience and in-depth research, the MLB Program offers legal and business professionals from around the world excellent advanced training and improved career perspectives.
