The LLM has a flexible program structure and suits the objective of a number of students to upgrade their skills and knowledge through specialist taught papers, a combination of taught papers with a sig- nificant piece of independent research or those who wish to engage in research only. The Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the oldest and most presti- gious university in Poland offers a postgraduate LL.M. program in Polish business law, taught in German, including 9 courses ranging from Polish Civil Law to International Private Law. The program offers an innovative approach to transnational, Anglo- American and European business law. It covers a wide range of topics, such as contracts, project finance, commercial and investment arbitration, corporate law, securities regulation, EU internal market, and international tax law.
This is a program like no other offered in Europe. It is not simply one more program focusing on European and International Law, our aim is to teach Law in a European and Global Context and to do so with a top international faculty and employing new methodologies and pedagogical techniques. These interactions that his- torically took place in Puerto Rico, are now taking place in many areas of Law across the globe. The program consists of 24 credits divided into two semesters for a one year of academic residence.
