Getting there…. Hamburg by Air
Hamburg can be flown to from many different worldwide locations. 80 airlines fly directly from and to 115
national and international destinations. Hamburg by Car/Taxi
Discounted airlines fly to Hamburg from all over the world: • Easyjet will start operating 15 new direct routes to Hamburg from March 2014 (on top of its existing routes from Basel, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Rome FCO).
• Air Berlin offers great value flights from a variety of worldwide destinations.
• German Wings offers economical flights from practically every major European city.
Hamburg Messe is easily accessible by car and parking is available on-site.
Parking: The Central Multi-Storey Car Park in Lagerstrasse has 900 spaces, which are chargeable and will be used during the event.
Travel by Taxi You can catch a taxi from the airport to the Hamburg Messe at the main taxi rank outside the airport, which takes approx 20 mins and costs in the region of €25.
Taking a taxi from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) will cost between €12 - €15
The drop off point for the in-cosmetics event is the Central Entrance ‘Eingang Mitte’.

If you arrive at Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), it is only one stop to Dammtor station, by S-Bahn S21 (towards Elbgaustrasse) – two minutes by train.

From Airport to Hamburg Messe Hamburg Messe can be reached from here by S-Bahn (S1) and taxi. The journey time by car is about 20 minutes, by public transport about 25 minutes.
Hamburg by Train
Dammtor Mainline Station is within walking distance from the venue’s Central Entrance. It links the Hamburg Messe directly with the mainline rail network of Deutsche Bahn, including ICE high- speed trains, thus connecting it with the international rail system.
