This new Award will be given to a raw material or ingredient that makes a significant environmental / social difference in the area of sustainability. The ingredient should have been launched in the last 3 years and have current applications in cosmetic products. Applicants will have to prove the environmental / social difference the material / ingredient makes in terms of sustainability.
R&D Awards 2014
The Award is given to honour the development of a novel active or functional ingredient that combines innovative science and product features in a way that demonstrates substantial benefits to manufacturers and to end users when compared with existing ingredients.
The award will be judged by a panel of industry experts and in-cosmetics will reveal the winners (3 Awards – Gold, Silver, Bronze) during the ceremony.
The 2014 Cosmetics & Toiletries R&D Awards will focus on one category, Best New Ingredient, which is specific to raw materials and their method(s) of development. Nominations are reviewed by an esteemed panel of international experts, who will select the finalists and, from there, the winner. Each entry will be judged not only for its significance to the industry, but also for its long-term impact.
Celebrating the Awards
All visitors and exhibitors are invited to join the winners and network with industry peers. Free food and drinks will be served during the evening event.
