• Monday 6th January, Dunblane Cathedral Guild, 7.30pm in the Cathedral Hall. What does a police surgeon do? Dr John Rankin, who has been a police surgeon for many years, will reveal some of the secrets that evening. Visitors are welcome at all The Guild meetings.

Friday 10th January, Forth Valley U3A. Would you like to make some new friends and become involved in a new hobby or interest at the same time to brighten the winter days? That’s what U3A is all about! The groups are very varied and include Current Affairs, Mandarin, Mah-jong, Bridge, Lunch club, Spanish, Line Dancing, Scrabble and Poetry. • Monday 20th January, Dunblane Cathedral Guild at 2.00pm in the Cathedral Hall. “Feather Finesse” is an intriguing title for the talk from Rosemary Storm, who exhibits regularly at craft events, will be demonstrating her art that afternoon. Visitors are welcome at all The Guild meetings.
