PC Simon Fraser & PC Andy Faulds 2014 – a busy year ahead
2014 promises to be a busy year for us all and we have much to look forward to.
From a local community point of view, we have the Ryder Cup in September which will no doubt bring large numbers of visitors to the area. We have the re-opening of Cromlix Hotel which may carry a bit of interest and will Andy Murray be back to show us his new key? Hopefully
the various events will be as
positive and enjoyable as recent events in the City have been.
From a policing point of view along with the above events, we will also have the Commonwealth Games, Referendum on Independence and the 700 years celebrations for the Battle of Bannockburn to name but a few that will be demanding our attention.
At a more local level, myself and Andy will continue to focus on the issues that present us with challenges on a daily basis, anti-social behaviour, petty vandalism and theft, issues around school parking and controlled drugs.
If anyone feels that there is something they would like us to deal with whether a whole community issue or an issue personal to them, we would ask that they contact us at Dunblane Police Offi ce or via the call centre (tel 101).
We will continue to have a police surgery at the Dunblane Centre on the fi rst Monday of each month between 5 – 7 pm where you can call in and speak to us in private and in confi dence. The visit does not have to be offi cial and can be just a chat if that’s what you want.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in Dunblane a Happy New Year, we would also like to thank everyone who has assisted us and our fellow offi cers over the last year and look forward to working with the Dunblane Community in 2014.
