Hi everyone! Another Funday Sunday has come and gone and now the excitement builds for panto ... oh yes it does! This year it is Sleeping Beauty and tells the tale of the beautiful but painfully stroppy Princess Briar Rose who is cursed at her 16th birthday by the wicked Fairy Carbolic. The good fairies off er some hope. They change the spell to ensure that the Princess won’t die but will fall into an enchanted sleep for 100 years from which she will only wake if kissed by the one she loves.

Join ‘Fix-it’ the Jester, secret agents, the dashing Prince Valiant and a whole host of fairies as they join forces to save the day. With fabulous costumes, songs and all the traditional panto humour, it’s a show not to be missed. Shows are Tuesday 3rd – Saturday 7th December, tickets available from the Centre.

MASSIVE congratulations goes to Howard for completing what can only be described as the MAMMOTH cycle. For those who don’t know (how could you not?!) Howard cycled the full length of mainland Britain beginning at Lands End and fi nishing at John O’Groats – he did around 1000 miles over 9 days! Howard’s target was to raise £3500 and as I’m writing this the last count was an unbelievable £4200. We’re extremely proud and thankful to Howard for taking on this challenge.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated, and supported Howard along the way, this money will make a big diff erence towards what we can off er at the Centre!
