Our writing competition is back!
Together with Figment Creative Expression Ltd, we invite all those aspiring writers to enthuse, amaze and delight us yet again with your brilliant poetry and short stories.
Your task this time is to consider how to use the following three objects in your story: a book, a key and a star.
Prizes: • Winners (one poem, one short story) £50 cheque, £25 voucher towards the booking of a full term of Figment Creative Writing classes

1st Runners-Up (one poem, one short story) £25 voucher towards the booking of a full term of Figment Creative Writing classes
2nd Runners-Up (one poem, one short story) £10 voucher towards the booking of a full term of Figment Creative Writing classes
• Winners will be published in theWire and on-line. Runners-up will also be published on Figment’s website.
Tips: • Winners will be published in January, so bear in mind the wintry weather and the New Year festive feeling.

Short story entries should be no longer than 750 words. Poetry entries should be no longer than 20 lines.
