08456 000 286 | www.marbel.co.uk Marbel introduces two brand new ranges; WWF Plush and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home are both bringing a range of plush novelty toys to the market. Products from both WWF and Battersea use high quality soft materials and are made to high manufacturing standards. WWF has granted Marbel a product licence to sell a selection of nine animals, including the 22cm Sitting Panda, the 21cm Sitting Tiger, and the 21cm Penguin. Each animal comes with a story about the species and its natural habitat. For every plush toy sold by Marbel, WWF will receive a contribution that supports them in safeguarding these creatures. Each WWF plush animal comes with a tag with a ‘To:’ and ‘From:’

fi eld, with the tagline ‘Your purchase can help make a difference’, informing customers that a percentage of what they spend will go towards helping the charity. There is also a selection of facts included with each plush. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has also granted an exclusive licence

to Marbel to distribute its range of soft plush toys. They are bringing six dogs and four cats to the market. The product release ties in with Paul O’Grady’s new series of the Battersea programme ‘For the Love of Dogs’ on ITV. Royalties from all sales go towards supporting the work of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The toys have a realistic look; Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has

developed a unique way of portraying the animals using a new selection of materials and designs, and each animal has its own endearing back story.

DKL

01604 774 949 | www.john-crane.co.uk Trudi from John Crane encourages role-play with its puppet collections. The collection features three different ranges; Duet Puppets, Story Telling Puppets and the Animal Puppet collection. The Duet Puppet collection features 12

characters in six different puppets; turn each puppet inside out to reveal a new character. These detailed animals can also be used as puppets to tell stories. A few in the collection include the Dog and Cat, Polar Bear and Penguin, Hare and Turtle, and Wolf and Lamb. The Story Telling Puppet collection is a detailed range of storytelling characters which double up as soft toys. The Lion King, Cat Princess, Dog Knight and Frog Prince are some of the characters in the range. The Animal Puppet collection was introduced to the John Crane catalogue in 2012 and new additions for this year include the Rooster, Beagle and Raccoon. The animals remain plump and have a weighted bottom so that they become a cuddly toy when they are not being used as a puppet. They are ideal for pretend play, increasing vocabulary and storytelling. Other characters in the collection include the Crow, Monkey, Crocodile and Lion.
