favourite characters including Twiggy the Giraffe, Tiny the Mouse and Fluffy the Sheepdog. The award-winning Dress-Up Tatty Teddy has a range of new accessories and outfi ts, including the Dress-Up Wardrobe which comes complete with one free outfi t, six hangers, a secret drawer and stickers. There are more outfi ts available separately, such as the soft pink dressing gown, slippers and onesie, tutu and bolero. This Summer also sees brand new additions to the My Blue
Nose Friends collectable plush range, with further launches in the Autumn. The most recent characters to launch are Scuttle the Crab, Bixie the Cocker Spaniel, Flip the Gecko and Spangle the Starfi sh, each with its own number and personality. Carte Blanche has lined up a Summer marketing campaign for the toy range, which will include TV and online sponsorship.
Golden Bear The new
Woolly and Tig plush collection launched in May, and sold out in many retailers in the fi rst few weeks. As master toy licensee, Golden Bear has created a range that includes a Woolly Soft Toy and Poseable Talking Woolly. Golden Bear is also introducing a new range of toys for the pre-school
show In the Night Garden. The new toy collection includes favourite characters, featuring Talking Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy Soft Toys. Also available is a feature plush with Lullaby Igglepiggle and Play a Tune Upsy Daisy. Following a limited launch in 2012, the full Something Special collection
is now available. The collection offers an array of Mr Tumble toys including an interactive plush that comes with special features such as a light-up nose, opening waistcoat and features popular phrases and sounds from the show. Further plush lines are featured in the Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom,
Poppy Cat and Bananas in Pyjamas ranges, which include talking feature plush.

www.intelex.co.uk The Intelex Group launched over nine new ranges in 2012, including the Hooty owls, Trolli luggage and the Socky Dolls; this year will see more new product innovations from the team. August 2013 will see the new and fully warmable YooHoo and Friends hitting shelves for the Autumn/Winter season. The collaboration between Intelex and Aurora World has seen a three-year licensing deal agreed for fi ve of the key YooHoo and Friends characters. With over 30m of Aurora’s YooHoo brand being sold globally since launch, the YooHoo characters are now also available fully warmable. YooHoo and Friends is available to pre-order now.
A further licensing agreement between Intelex and DRi will see Boofl e join the company’s portfolio of licensed warmable plush toys, which already includes Bagpuss, Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. Boofl e will be fi lled with treated millet and scented with lavender, and warms up in the microwave in two minutes. Other new entrants this year from Intelex include the soft and fully
warmable Knitted Warmer animals, complete with striped jumpers. Joining the Hooty owls is the new Snowy Hooty and Floral Hooty. The Hooty phone and LCD screen cleaners are also available.
