This month Toy World asked a selection of suppliers which of the new products they will be introducing for Christmas they are most excited about.

Festive favourites Rachel Wyatt Suzanne Till

Coiledspring Games We’ve got lots of new products launching at Autumn Fair, so it’s difficult to choose, but I’m looking forward to seeing the new Eiffel Tower 3D jigsaw from Wrebbit-3D, and I’m really looking forward to launching the new Sorgenfresser characters, as I absolutely love them.

Pink Chillies We have two new characters joining the Pink Chillies range, a purple one and a blue one, and people are already crying out for them. Each character and colour represents an endangered species and/or environmental issue, with 10% of the profit from sales going to a range of related species and environmental based charities which include Tusk, Elephant Family and Rainforest Concern, amongst others. We’re really excited to be launching two new characters into this excellent range, and we’re going to be exhibiting at this year’s BLE after winning the ‘License Th!s 2012’ competition.

It's very hard to select just one product, given that we're launching a range of In The Night Garden and Something Special, but my personal favourite would be the Go Mini HQ.

LeapFrog We have seen the launch of our new learn-to-read-and-write system, LeapReader, offering real innovation in LeapFrog’s first category of business. Alongside Ultra we have real strength in the LeapPad family with the launch of LeapPad 2 Power, which answers requests to save on battery costs and kids requests for an unending power supply for the number one kids tablet. We are also bringing some new additions to our Learning Toys range including Read With Me Scout – LeapFrog’s character who can now magically read one of five included books to a child. It's is all about content for us,

so you can expect to see some new software launches across both LeapReader and LeapPad throughout the year. These include collaborations with some of the most popular children’s licenses like Disney Pixar Monsters University, Disney Doc McStuffins and many more.

Sakar We are very excited about the launch of our two seven-inch tablets designed for the

whole family to share; the Camelio and the XO Tablet. Both tablets are Google-Certified Android devices and support multiple user profiles. The XO Tablet was created in partnership with an amazing non-profit organisation, One Laptop Per Child (OLPC). The XO’s unique ‘Dreams’ interface allows children to choose their own learning adventures depending on what they want to be today, or when they grow up. The XO comes with over 200 free preloaded apps, books and games, expanding the learning environment even further. The XO Tablet is also multilingual; with one tap, users can easily switch between English and Spanish with more languages to come in future releases.

Happy Hoppers has taken off like you wouldn’t believe. It’s an excellent outdoor toy and we’re experiencing huge sales. We’ve also just taken on a soft toys range called Nattou, a Belgian brand. Their products range from little soft toys to mobiles, and we are positive they will do well.
