01273 454 422 | www.pinkchillies.com Brand Licensing Europe’s ‘License Th!s 2012’ competition winners, Pink Chillies, will be at BLE 2013 on stand B126, where the company will introduce two new members to the Pink Chillies range. The Pink Chillies range is collectable and engaging for all ages, and plays a part in educating young people and adults about endangered species and environmental issues. Pink Chillies was formed

from a love for elephants, wildlife and the planet. The company’s range comprises quality plush toys, money boxes known as Elebanks, and other gifts and accessories. BBC Worldwide stated that Pink Chillies was the property that had the most to gain from exposure at this year’s BLE, and the simple graphics combined with the exoticism of the elephants and the worthy charity element made for a winning combination. Each character represents an endangered species and/or environmental issue, with 10% of

the profi t from sales going to a range of related species and environmental based charities which include Tusk, Elephant Family and Rainforest Concern, amongst others. The new products are being sold in support of Sussex Wildlife Trust. The Trust is the leading

nature conservation organisation in Sussex, where Pink Chillies is based. The new characters are: Ervin, meaning ‘friend of the sea’ in old English, and Kai the sea snail; and Yara, meaning ‘butterfl y’, and Makshi, ‘honey bee’, representing butterfl ies and bees and the current threats facing them.
