DKL and Miniland Educational have launched a new stand especially for the Summer months featuring the brand new Minimobil range of plastic vehicles. The stand hosts over 180 mini vehicles, featuring a variety of styles such as jobs and racing cars in three different sizes. Designed to make an eye-catching display, the Minimobil vehicles come in vibrant primary colours and are made from high-quality plastics; they are also dishwasher friendly.

Movies for Juniors weekend film screenings to promote its new CGI animated TV series, Max Steel. The global toy brand has been using the cinema medium since 8th July
to drive brand awareness of Max Steel. Exclusive sponsorship of Movies for Juniors offers the toy company an opportunity to reach its target market out-of-home and in a shared environment on family days out. The cinema sponsorship will provide an alternative window for Max
Steel programming content to be shown on the big screen in addition to its broadcast on Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons. Four minutes of Max Steel footage will run before the main movie each week and the Movies for Juniors idents will be jointly branded with Cineworld. In addition to on-screen branding and extended promotional content
at the Saturday morning screenings, the sponsorship includes 30’ spots in all family films during the agreement period. The deal also incorporates Cineworld’s online and digital communications, cinema point-of-sale and printed magazines, as well as experiential activity.

Slow Toy Awards unveils shortlist
Mask-arade opens new distribution centre
Mask-arade is celebrating its fifth anniversary by opening a new distribution centre with an Only Fools & Horses-themed party. The new centre is located next door to their head offices in Southam, Warwickshire. ‘Nelson Mandela House’ will be officially opened by John Challis (aka Boycie) of Only Fools & Horses fame on 28th September at 2pm. After securing the licence to produce official merchandise for the BBC sitcom, the whole event will take place with an Only Fools & Horses theme. Del Boy cocktails will be served from the Nags Head bar, there will be the Trotters yellow three wheeler, and John Challis will be signing copies of his books. Mask-arade products will also be available at a special discounted rate. The range of masks, depicting Del Boy, Rodney, Uncle Albert, Boycie and Marlene, has become a bestseller for the company.
