Specflue launch Green Square range L

ast month’s Hearth and Home exhibition, held at the Harrogate International Centre, saw the

official launch of Specflue’s impressive Green Square renewable energy product range. This complements Specflue’s already hugely successful flue and chimney business. The Green Square product portfolio

offers a fantastic range of MCS approved renewable energy products including pellet stoves, biomass boilers, solar ther- mal, heat pumps and the impressive new Xcel Heat Bank (thermal store) technol- ogy. Coupled with Specflue’s recently opened renewables training centre, this makes Green Square an ideal proposition for those in the solid fuel market, who are keen to explore other opportunities and extend their knowledge in the latest technologies. The main focus of Green Square is to provide trade professionals with the ability to design, specify and supply the latest renewable technologies.

Richard Hiblen, Specflue’s national

sales manager, explains Specflue’s reason for diversifying: “The government and consumers alike have started to recog- nise the problems associated with a rapidly changing world and people’s continuous reliance on gas and oil. Consumers are starting to look towards renewable sources of energy, which offer both a carbon reduction and increased energy security. Our comprehensive Green Square pro-duct range is recom- mended by retailers throughout the country. As a company, Specflue have the technical expertise and product knowl- edge to advise consumers and installers on the renewable energy market and associated products.” To accompany Green Square’s pro-

duct portfolio, and reinforce Specflue’s passion to set and lead the way in producing the next generation of solid fuel and renewable technology installers and specialists, Specflue have invested

in a modern, purpose-built renewables training facility at their head office in Sudbury. The facility offers a wide variety of renewable courses, a number of which are BPEC accredited. Jed Smith, Specflue’s training manager,

highlights: “Through our expansive renew- ables course portfolio, both installers and retailers find our renewables training centre, a valuable resource for updating their product knowledge and achieving relevant qualifications. Specflue, via our new Green Square product range, offers a truly one stop service for renewable products, advice and training.”
