ADULT ACTIVITIES ADULT TENNIS LESSONS
Classes are designed for beginning to advanced-intermediate tennis players and are limited to 8-10 students per instructor. Classes are offered in six, three-week sessions. Students may
register for more than one session.
CLASS LEVELS: BEGINNER - Introduction to the basics of tennis. Learn proper grip, stroke techniques, serving, and movement.
ADVANCED BEGINNER - Instruction designed for tennis fundamentals and to improve the level of your play.
INTERMEDIATE - This class will prepare you for entry level tournament play. Some emphasis on competitive play.
ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE - With a focus on competitive tennis, this class is structured for players seeking higher level play.
DRILL GROUP - This class will improve your game through the use of fast-paced competitive drills and play.

ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE 16YRS+
Advanced-intermediate classes are for students who lack consistency in a rally but can coordinate footwork when contacting the ball on the forehand and backhand. These students keep score, serve (but double fault frequently), and understand the basic rules.

ACTIVITY# TENNIS 101 FOR KIDS AND ADULTS
For tennis enthusiasts of all ages who have never played or who are a little rusty. Tennis 101 teaches the basics of the game quickly and easily in a fun, fast and family-friendly group environment. Clinics meet from 9 to 10:30 am on Saturdays from June through September at designated public courts in Boise, Meridian and Eagle for a small fee. Register online at

ADULT OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
SAFETY AND SURVIVAL IN REMOTE AREAS 16YRS+ This class is ideal for those who plan to camp, hike, 4WD, snowshoe or otherwise travel to remote backcountry areas for work or play. Participants will learn new skills and show that they can practice sound planning and preparation for any trip to the mountains and deserts of Idaho. Skills you learn here could help prevent a mishap from becoming a tragedy. Instructor Ray Vizgirdas is a field biologist and naturalist with over 30 years of back- country experience.
