ADAPTIVE RECREATION DUTCH OVEN COOKING
In this beginning level class we will cook a delicious main course and dessert over charcoal using a cast iron pot called a Dutch oven. Classes will take place at the outside shelter in Municipal Park. Please discuss any dietary needs with Sonya, 608-7680, at least one week prior to the activity.

Like regular golf, the object is to toss a Frisbee and hit a target in the least amount of throws. Join us for a BBQ picnic dinner and then play disc golf in the park. Discs are provided. AGES DAYS TIME

Spend your Saturday with us at the Morrison Center enjoying the live musical “The King and I.” Before the play we will go out for a delicious lunch. Participants must have the ability to sit quietly through a two-hour play.

Join us on a guided tour of the U.S. Air Force Base in Mountain Home, we will have the rare opportunity to learn about the aircrafts that fly in the military, inspect fighter planes, and see the military safety equipment. The cost includes lunch at the cafeteria on Base, the tour and transportation from Fort Boise Community Center.

Visit historic Idaho City with us. We will explore the sites in town, tour the museum, eat lunch, take a short hike along an interpretive trail and get ice cream. Food and transportation to and from Fort Boise Community Center and Idaho City are included. Please be ready for an active day of exploring.

Bring your own bike or use one of our adaptive bikes. Please call Sonya at 608-7680, upon registration to discuss which bicycle will work best for you. These bike rides are designed as supervised group rides and are not bike rid- ing lessons. However, proper trail manners and safety will be addressed. Bike rides last one hour and will meet at Municipal Park. For the safety of all, participants must be willing and able to follow two-step directions.

During this program, everyone will decorate their very own garden pot, which we will then plant with a variety of edible herbs. After creating our personal gardens, we will use the herbs and feast on a delicious dinner of Dutch Oven pizza and salad.

FISHING
We will provide poles, reels, bait and basic instruction for you to test your luck or skill at catching that trophy trout, catfish or crappie. The pond and dock are accessible and stocked by Idaho Fish & Game. AGES DAYS TIME

Enjoy fishing, paddling and picnicking at Quinn’s Pond. We will use inflatable kayaks and small rafts to explore the pond and fish from the accessible docks. We will also have a picnic lunch in the shade. Meet at the pond entrance next to Idaho River Sports, 3100 W Pleasanton Ave. Boise.
