JVC’s drvn line just got bigger and better with drvnXX, adding 4 coaxials and 3 amps (1, 2, 4 channels) to the mix. JVC says all new stuff is shipping.
Kenwood has replaced its flagship DNX-9990HD with the DNX- 6990HD. It has a faster processor, AHA Radio, Android phone compat- ibility and is
$400 less than last year’s model. The 6990HD has a smaller screen and loses one A/V input.
Subwoofers are the signature of Memphis Car Audio’s line, so upgrades to the C3 and Mojo are a natural progression. The M5 series (10, 12, 15) replaces the C3 while the Mojo5 (shown; 12, 15) replaces Mojo. Available in February.
Crimestopper always brings innovative products to CES, and the company didn’t disap- point this year. It introduced 2 mobile DVR/camera combos, one of which records the driver and the front view at the same time. Look for availability in April.
