John Crane Ltd enjoys social media boost
John Crane Ltd was one of the 50 most talked about UK brands on social media sites in July according to parental blogger forum, Tots 100. Other toy companies
and brands to make the chart included: Play-Doh, Disney, Chuggington, Duplo, Toys R Us, Power Rangers and LEGO, which came top. Helped by a successful High Tea Shape Matching campaign with

into social media and formed excellent relationships. This is testament to our hard work and it’s fantastic to see the rewards of all that effort.”

Character bowled over by DaGeDar promotion
Character Options has teamed up with The Original Bowling Company, owners of Hollywood Bowl and AMF Bowling, as part of its marketing strategy for the imminent launch of DaGeDar. The new boy’s brand will unleash the spirit of the DaGeDar during visits to the group’s 42 bowling centres throughout the late summer and early autumn. As part of the campaign, kid’s parties at these centres will be given a DaGeDar theme. DaGeDar display mats and single DaGeDars to start collections will be available for every guest and birthday children will receive full DaGeDar track sets. Additionally, all visitors will experience DaGeDar during weekly Drop the DaGeDar activities. Jerry Healy, marketing director, commented: “This campaign mirrors the fast moving
competitive track and ball nature of the brand and is a perfect way for us to sample to the core audience during the launch months.
