8vo., recently bound in quarter calf over boards covered in patterned paper from Haberly’s original stock, leather label on spine, edges untrimmed. Large initials to the beginning of many poems printed in green or red, the first word to the first poem printed in red with a large, beautifully printed intitial ‘T’ as the first capital, the dedication to the poet Robert Bridges printed in green and red. A fine copy.
First edition. One of 120 copies, of which sixty-five were “issued.”, this copy unnumbered. The most substantial production of Haberly’s Seven Acres Press, published at fifteen pounds. Purchasers included Emery Walker, Maurice Baring, and Robert Bridges. A trade edition was published by the Oxford University Press in 1931. When presented with a copy of the book Bernard Shaw expressed amazement at its price: “That’s plain foolish, “ said Shaw, “You can’t get fifteen pounds for a book of verse.” Haberly pointed out that the entire edition was sold out. “The you’re a bigger fool than I thought, “ was the Shavian reply, “Why didn’t you charge twenty pounds?”

First edition, limited to 75 copies, printed on Kelmscott handmade paper. This was the final production of the Seven Acres Press at Long Crendon. Haberly later recalled that “of 75 copies printed, only seven or eight were issued...”.

4to., 10 volumes in original red buckram, lettered in gilt on spine with gilt coat of arms blocked on upper boards. Portrait frontispieces to each volume. The buckram of volume 1 is a noticably lighter shade of red than the rest of the set, neat ink name in each volume, otherwise a very nice set.
Limited edition of 1000 numbered copies. A handsomely printed edition on hand-made paper.

Limited to 550 copies. A volume of “The Players’ Shakespeare”, under the art-editorship of Albert Rutherston and with Introductions by Harley Granville-Barker.
