A single sheet folded once to form 4 pages; loosely inserted in plain brown wrappers with manuscript title and date in Cobden Sanderson’s hand; one small marginal tear, otherwise a very nice copy.


One of about 300 copies. A scarce piece of Doves Press ephemera. This copy is from the library of Radclyffe Hall, author of The Well of Loneliness, and her partner, the sculptor Una Troubridge, with their joint bookplate pasted inside the brown paper wrapper.

This copy numbered 13 and signed by W.O. Hassal to the verso of the titlepage.
