Sudlows project case studies


Andy Hirst, specialist projects director at Sudlows, points out that a number of national, high impact projects have added a great deal of drive to Sudlows’ business over the past year. In particular, these have related to end-user projects with the public sector. For example, at the Anglia Ruskin University Campus in Cambridgeshire, Sudlows presented a traditional battery- based UPS solution; the 3 x Riello Master Plus UPS system. “This online static UPS module has a full load capacity of 100kVA and an impressive 0.9 power factor,” Hirst pointed out. “We find that despite the diverging data centre market there is still wide scope for conventional battery- operated technology, even now that organisations are more receptive to alternatives.”
