New corporate branding

The Hands Free Company was also in residence to promote its new corporate branding, along with its fleet vehicle installation projects and customised mobile communication and hardware products. The company has established long-term relationships with some of the largest global manufacturers of rugged handheld devices and mobile printers, as well those who specialise in tracking and telematic devices. Posiflex Technology has also recently appointed Varlink as UK distributor. Posiflex has evolved and grown to become a main world player in the design and manufacture of Posiflex POS Terminals and POS-related peripherals. The company designs and manufactures all Posiflex brand products in its own ISO 9001/9002/14001/IECQ QC 080000 certified laboratory and factories in

Taiwan. Handpoint, provider of mobile payment acceptance solutions, has also recently joined the roll-call of Varlink vendor partners. The company can offer a total end-to-end, multi-channel payment solution for mobile, in-store (customer present), eCommerce and MOTO using its fully PCI compliant payment gateway.

Other highlights included Orient’s range of thermal and impact POS and kitchen printers; Janam’s rugged mobile computers, scanning PDAs and range of handheld and presentation barcode scanners; Baracoda’s Bluetooth barcode and RFID readers & adapters that enable multiple mobile computing applications when paired with any Bluetooth-ready devices; Trimple’s outdoor rugged handheld computers and tablet PC, all IP67 rated and meeting MLIT-STD-810F; Zebra’s range of label, receipt, mobile and RFID-ready barcode printers; and Seagull Scientific’s well-established barcode label design software. Additionally, new vendor partner recruit Itos displayed its mobile payment terminals for receiving payment with EMV and magnetic stripe cards.

Varlink CEO Mike Pullon said of this year’s show: “At each annual Meet The Manufacturers event we get the chance to turn the spotlight not just on the longer-established brands we partner with, but also on a number of new vendors that are relatively new to the Varlink fold. The event is an ideal meeting place for resellers to find out about both our longer-standing vendor partners together with our continually expanding number of new manufacturer partners.” Varlink marketing manager Sabine Kelly added: “Meet The Manufacturers gives resellers a perfect environment to discuss new products, margin opportunities, partnerships and even possible support available from the vendors to help promote resellers’ activities in new markets.”
