Ingram Micro EMEA receives three regional ‘Distributor of the Year’ awards at the Distree XXL event

ngram Micro EMEA, a division of Ingram Micro Inc., the global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, recently won
three awards at the Distree XXL event. The ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2011 Awards’ took place recently in Monaco, in association with Distree XXL – one of the region’s premier channel events. Vendor executives with EMEA channel responsibility voted live for nine regional distributor categories. Databox Informatica, Esprinet, Ingram Micro and Tech Data as the five nominated companies. With 42 per cent of the votes, Ingram Micro claimed the title and its first award of the evening.

The 'Dach Distributor of the Year' award saw Actebis, Also, Ingram Micro, Tech Data and Wortmann go head-to-head in the final five. Ingram Micro won the 2011 award with 48 per cent of the vendor vote. The final award for 'UK & Ireland Distributor of the Year' saw Computer 2000, EntaTech, Ingram Micro, Micro-P and VIP Computer Centre all receive official nominations. Ingram Micro picked up the prize, claiming its third distributor award of the evening.
