was speaking to Amit Goswami about his recently published book, God Is Not Dead, which presents an excellent argument for the existence of God, based on quantum


physical thinking.


In your book you were talking about the chakras and how you feel the feelings first, you were also mentioning in the same sort of scenario the morphogenetic fields. I know that Rupert Sheldrake did do a lot about that. What actually is a morphogenetic field?


Well there in the ancient literature this idea that vital energy are important players and these energies are the energies that we feel at the chakras. We sometimes call them karma and in China we call it chi, but this is all the energies connected with the vital body. Then


of course biologists discovered that the vital body is thought to have a lineage of vital. But Rupert with his tremendous intuition recognised that no vital cannot be eliminated because we had this problem with morphogenenisi; the problem of how the one celled embryo develops into a multi cellular differentiated organism with differentiated organs, and from different conscious and therefore the same genes, so the genes must be programmed, but who is programming the genes? So this idea is morphogenetic fields. If you recognise that morphogenetic fields are nothing but another name for the vital bodies, we can then identify the movement of morphogenetic fields, with vital energy. So that’s one part of the explanation. The other part; quantum physics is responsible because we regard the morphogenetic fields
