Two new friends of the furry variety arrived in the form of Cocoa – inspired by the trip to Cadbury’s – and Gem, the guinea pigs. The children love looking after them, and as you can see, they are the best groomed guinea pigs in Edgbaston!
All this excitement was so exhausting that they went to the beach for the day to make sandcastles – or just sit and soak up the sun in a deck chair. As the ‘beach’ was next to Central Library the sound of the waves was missing, but a jolly good time was had by all!
The babies had a very busy year; raising £500 for Barnardos in the Big Toddle event, toddling round the school site dressed up as animals; visiting the Bear Factory to see how these furry friends of ours are made; and doing some quality control at the Cadbury’s
factory...mmm, that was a good trip!
There were lots of fun and games at Halloween with, of course, the obligatory dressing up. The Christmas dinner went down a treat – even Harry’s Heffalump enjoyed himself at the party!
