recently renovated its guestrooms, func-
tion space, public spaces, fitness center,
and restaurant.
The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown con-
verted Franklin Hall into an exhibit space
that can be divided into 13 separate
breakout rooms to accommodate cus-
tomer needs. The hotel also spent more

than $6 million in renovations and tech-
nology to upgrade its lobby and restau-
rant 13. The hotel is expected to com-
plete renovations to its 1,401 rooms and
suites by the end of 2009.
