TE Connectivity: Relays for Extreme Environments
Harrisburg, PA — TE Connectivity, a provider of connectivity technology and sensors, has introduced its CII FC-325 series of relays. Designed for harsh inductive, motor and lamp load applications within the aero- space, defense and marine mar- kets, these hermetically sealed devices are suitable for operation in extreme environments. The CII FC-325 series is a
Only NorCom optical leak technology detects both gross and fine leaks in hermetically sealed packages, this fast. Instead of using multiple technologies
and processes, you can leak test virtually any type of package with one high-speed system. The NorCom 2020™
series inspects hermetically sealed components to
MIL-STD 883 requirements either in seam seal trays, or when already mounted to circuits boards and assemblies. It automatically rejects failed devices, and reports the leak rate for each part, eliminating “divide and conquer”leak testing.

3-pole, 25 A, non-latching, her- metically sealed relay. It is fully welded, lightweight, and accord- ing to the company, has a higher capacity than similar balanced versions. Configured as a 3PST/NO
(DM), the double make/break contact de sign of the series achieves its capacity by sharing the load across two sets of con- tacts, which results in less wear on the relay. In addition, by using an all-welded design instead of solder sealing, the chances of introducing FOD or leaking are reduced. Qualified to MS27418 specifica-
tions, the relays have a 1.5 in. (38 mm) corrosion-resistant cube enclo- sure and weigh 0.542 lb. Designed to operate in extreme environments,

PI Releases Mini Ultrasonic Piezo Rotary Stage
Auburn, MA — PI (Physik Instru - mente), a precision motion and nanopositioning systems specialist, has released the latest product in its series of miniature rotary stages with ultrasonic piezo motor drives. The U-622 joins two other miniaturized ultra- sonic rotary positioners: U-624 and U-628. Small, fast and self-lock-
ing without the need of a brake, the series of ultrasonic piezo motor reach velocities of up to 720 degrees per second. Due to the self-locking ceramic motor, no heat is generated at rest. The compact design, with widths of 20, 30 or 50 mm (0.8, 1.2, and 1.8 in.) and heights of 10, 12 or 19 mm (0.4, 0.5, 0.75 in.), allows for easy integration into appli- cations with tight spaces. The rotary stages have a rotation range of 360°, operate quietly, have an extreme dynamic range and are quick to step and settle. Vacuum compatible ver- sions to 10-6 hPa are available. A piezo-ceramic ring motor
drives the rotating platform, which eliminates the need for mechanical
components, such as worms, pinions and gears. The motor reduces iner- tia, size and wear, while also increas-

ing the stage’s reliability. The U-62x series comes with integrated, direct- measuring, incremental encoders that ensure resolution down to 1/1000 of a degree for reliable posi-
tion control. Contact: PI (Physik

Magid Intros Lightweight Glove with Specialized Grip
Romeoville, IL — Magid, a manufac- turer and supplier of safety products, has introduced a protective glove with a NitriX® coated palm. The glove is designed to be lightweight, resistant to cuts, and ensure a safe grip in oily conditions. The D-ROC gloves can also be worn while access- ing a touchscreen. The gloves are rated to ANSI Level 5 protection in the areas of
cuts, abrasion and puncture resist- ance. They are suitable for work in metal stamping, fabrication and machining jobs, and any other appli- cation with a high potential for cut- ting accidents, or jobs with heavy
exposure to oil or coolant. Contact: Magid, 1300 Naperville
