The imotion G6 full-outdoor LCD product line by Infinitus is making its debut at ISE. The sixth generation of this technology is aimed at integrators and customers seeking all-weather outdoor LCD, and replaces the company’s current imotion full-outdoor product line. imotion G6 free-standing

A range of new digital audio and security products from TOA is being demonstrated throughout ISE 2014. Among other items, visitors can see the SR-D8 active line array speaker in action with embedded GUI-operated software working alongside it. Other products with a digital spine on show include the company’s M-864D and M-633D digital stereo mixers, which are exhibited integrated into live systems. TOA’s range of EN54-compliant PA/VA systems, already in use

around the world, include the VM-3000, a multifunctional Voice Evacuation system which suits small- to medium-sized applications such as shopping centres, retail stores and schools. Also on display at ISE 2014 is the SX-2000 system combined with the VP-3000 Quad Digital Amplifier, installed in large factory sites and shopping malls. A range of Trantec Wireless

Systems and accessories, including the brand new Trantec dual RX2 system taken from the S4.16 Series, is also viewable on the TOA stand. Stand: 3-A79

systems come in landscape and portrait orientations, in single and double side alternatives, and in LCD sizes of 47in, 55in, 65in and 72in. At the Infinitus stand, visitors can see the touch interactive imotion G6 47in portrait single side and imotion G6 72in portrait double side, intended for DOOH advertising. Generation 6 differs mainly

in appearance as new systems have smaller bezels (70mm), minimised LCD to glass distance (12mm) and a refreshed mask design. The company says these improvements will improve all-condition readability, touchscreen user experience and the attractiveness of multimedia displays. The difference is likely to be most noticeable for larger-sized systems such as the 72in portrait version, which will measure 2.45m in height. The thermal management

of the new line delivers constant inner enclosure temperatures between 200C and 250C, and constant 100% to 110% luminance output of integrated LCD panels. Stand: 8-K170

Links add up to Infinity ADDER TECHNOLOGY

Adder has added two new additions to its extender range, as well as bringing further capabilities to AdderLink Infinity. The new AdderLink DV100

HDMI extender is ideal for digital signage use. It includes Adder’s Proof of Display technology, which enables the remote monitoring of all screens within a signage network over an IP link. This allows network owners to bill advertisers with the assurance that their content has been displayed. For command and control use, the AdderLink DV120 DVI extender brings simplified operations to the visualiser or videowall and allows the computer hardware to be stored out of the room. “The extenders are great

problem-solving products,” said John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder Technology. “They have a prominent place in any AV engineer’s toolkit and are

characterised by their simplicity. The plug-and-play functionality brings convenience and ease of use to any installation. The AdderLink DV120 DVI extender – used in combination with an AdderLink Infinity unit in a control room environment – enables users to add flexibility and functionality by offering a complete, integrated solution.” The AdderLink Infinity, which

allows a computer and its operator to be separated by almost any distance without loss in capabilities, reduction in video resolution or quality, has been newly upgraded with version 3.2 firmware. This update provides double the bandwidth of other KVM systems, for lossless HD video at 60fps and high fidelity audio over standard IP.

Also on show is the AdderLink XD522 dual-head, point-to-point, DisplayPort extender, which can support dual screens or dual link screens up to 100m away with an S/FTP CATx cable. Stand: 9-F104
