Tri-Dosha’s great expectations

Having seen increasing numbers of expectant mothers at its partners’ spas, Ayurveda spa and beauty company Tri-Dosha developed its new Great Expectations facial using a range of natural Ayurvedic products. The facial massage uses a specially formulated pregnancy oil with mandarin notes to boost energy fl ow. Sunita Passi, founder of Tri-Dosha,

provides advice on how to introduce the products to spa clients. “We created a new consultation document to help the guest understand their body type (dosha) while pregnant. This is inspiring for the guest as, if they had a Tri-Dosha body treatment with the classical Ayurvedic consultation before becoming pregnant, they can see how their dosha may have shifted,” says Passi.

“We also developed an ‘In Pregnancy’ lifestyle advice sheet.” The new facial is now available at

The Scarlet Spa in Cornwall and at The Herb House in Limewood, UK.
