Italian and family-owned, Kreoo is part of the DecorMarmi group and specialises in creating bespoke marble furniture using techniques that have been passed down through generations. From spa basins and shelving to exquisite seats and wall-to-fl oor coverings, a wide variety of marble types are used, such as Rosso Francia, Calacatta White, Marquina Black, Verde Alpi and Grigio St Marie.
Of particular note is Kreoo’s Pave ‘pebble seating’ system. Designed by Enzo Berti, the seats make a striking addition to a spa’s exterior pool or relaxation area, with pebble bases made from round or oval marble. Depending on the size required the seat tops can be produced in brushed, aged larch, bleached larch or cork fi nishes.

Swing into relaxation
Dedon’s new Swingrest was designed by Daniel Pouzet as an eco-friendly ‘hanging lounge’ to offer spa guests the ultimate in relaxation.
The Swingrest (pictured left) comes in a natural coloured weave and is ideal for hanging on a spa’s terrace or veranda from an elegant suspension system. Borrowing the basket-like bottom of Dedon’s iconic Nestrest hanging lounger, the Swingrest can fi t more people and was one of the fi rst products to emerge from design inspiration taken from the Dedon island resort, an ‘Outdoor Living Lab’ resort in Siargao, The Philippines. Espousing the company’s green credentials,
Dedon’s Tori Matthews says: “We are fully committed to the protection, conservation and long-term improvement of the environment through the adoption of ever more sustainable processes, methods and materials”, adding that “the weaving fi bre, produced to the highest German environmental standards, is 100 per cent recyclable, non-toxic and non-polluting to groundwater or the ozone.”
