De Vere announces new strategic partnership with ESPA New Viva Urban Spa brand to roll out across 25 UK sites by 2014 as part of ‘dynamic development programme’
UK: De Vere Hotels and Village Urban Resorts recently unveiled the first wave of an ambitious spa investment programme at an exclusive evening reception, in Scotland, to celebrate its partnership with ESPA. CEO Robert Cook, hosting with
ESPA CEO Susan Harmsworth MBE at The Carrick Spa at Cameron House, near Glasgow, confirmed that the spa’s launch heralded the roll-out of De Vere’s new spa proposition, Viva Urban Spa, across 25 sites in the UK, between 2013-2014. Citing spa as a significant driver for the group’s future business growth, he said: “We are now embarking on a dynamic programme of spa development, not just through our spa hotels but also through our Village Urban Resorts in 2014. I am working
with our Director of Spa, Emma Leadbeater, with the help of ESPA, to lift the whole concept of how we deliver spa across the business.”
On the product partner alliance, Cook explained: “The reason we have chosen ESPA as our strategic spa partner is that I believe this brand can deliver the very best guest experience. Susan Harmsworth is renowned for her commitment to product development, training and creating exceptional spa experiences, so it’s a natural fit.” Cook said recently secured Scottish
