Member Articles, Photographs and Awards
We are always looking for more predator hunting articles and member fi eld tests of products and equipment, clothing, optics, reloading, prairie dog or ground squirrel hunting, etc. Please don't be concerned about not being a "professional writer." We've had lots of practice handling the details of sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, etc. The Varmint Hunters Association offers annual awards for Member Writer of the Year. Any member who submits an article is automatically entered into our yearly contest. We also like to receive photographs of you and your family or friends out in the fi eld on your hunting trips, showing your trophies, and so forth. There is a special section in the magazine devoted to member photos in every issue. Members also can enter our Photographer of the Year contest by sending us photographs of outdoor sub- jects that depict "the spirit of the hunt" and related outdoor settings and situations. Please include a note that your photograph is a submission for the Photographer of the Year Award.
