more rounds, giving me a three-shot group measuring 0.20-inch. With that I fired another 50 or so rounds at targets out to around 100 yards. With each shot I was hitting what I aimed at. It was then back home to again clean the bar- rel. I packed up my chronograph plus various ammunition types so I could go back to the range the next day to gather data, which is listed. Where such an outfit would shine would be on western prairie dog and ground squirrel hunts. With the 17 HMR round being better suited for such varmints, seemingly everywhere in some areas, sitting on a field with shooting sticks would be the logical approach to hunting such game with such an outfit.
