New Benchtop Dispensing System with 6 Heads
McHenry, IL — Dispense Works, Inc. has introduced the RC conveyorized dispensing system to automatically fill 6 different colors of vinyl (Plastisol) into aluminum molds (pallets). This system uses the SR model (slip roller) conveyor with quick-adjust rails to accommodate pallets of different sizes. The operator simply places a pal-
let on the conveyor and selects which fill job to run from the menu. The con- veyor allows accumulation of pallets for unattended production and is available in virtually any length. The width is infinitely adjustable as well. All stops/sensors are embedded into the frame. The MG series robot is an excellent solution with its mechanism and electronics located above the work area for easy access. The dis- pensing patterns may be created in any graphic/CAD type program or taught with the machine’s own advanced jog and teach function. A
special pre-programmed software function streamlines setup with tools to control material volume on the fly. Up to 16 heads (valves, syringes, etc.) can be controlled.

Subminiature Low-Profile Slide Switch from C&K
Newton, MA — C&K Components has developed a subminiature slide switch specifically for consumer elec- tronic devices. The JSX Series SPDT momentary-action switch combines a low profile with an extended electri- cal and mechanical life of 100,000 cycles. It is available in tape-and-reel packaging, making it suitable for high volume assembly. Measuring just 2.6 x 7.6mm in size, the surface- mount switch is designed specifically for applications where height or sur- face area are restricted. Typical applications include
on/off touch screens, handheld games, remote controls and instru- mentation applications. Available in glass-filled housing
with a 4/6 nylon (UL94V-2) actuator, the JSX Series switch uses beryllium copper and silver-plated contacts. Phosphor bronze or silver-plated ter- minals and a stainless steel cover
and return spring allow for the sub- miniature slide switch’s 100,000- cycle standard lifespan. The switch’s contact rating of 10mA at 5VDC (resistive), maximum contact resist-

ance of 70mW, and 100VAC for 1 min. at 50/60Hz/2mA dielectric strength allow for its across-the- board integration within a number of
varied applications. Contact: C&K Components, 15
