December, 2012 Virtual Industries: Vacuum Handling Solutions
Colorado Springs, CO — Virtual In- dustries Inc.’s Small Part Handling Kit for Parts as Small as 200µm
lenses and SMT parts used in indus- try today. An optional tip handles parts as
small as 0.004-in. (0.10mm) with- out damage. Vacuum tweezers eliminate lost parts associated with mechanical tweezer handling. The long-life dia hragm vacu-
um pump generates up to 10-in. of mercury with an open air flow of 2.3lpm. The unit connects to ground automatically with a three-wire power cord and plugs
directly into 110 VAC (50/60Hz). Contact: Virtual Industries,

Brewer Science Intros New Generation Debonder
Rolla, MO — Brewer Science is intro- ducing a new and improved thermal slide debonder that enables high- temperature slide-off of thinned com- pound semiconductor substrates in both R&D and low-volume produc- tion. The Cee 1300CSX thermal slide debonder uses computerized process control and according to the compa- ny, delivers exceptional accuracy, in- terface capabilities, and process flex- ibility. The debonder is designed to meet the challenges of handling thinned compound semiconductor substrates. The unit has separated many
types of exotic wafers thinned to a thickness of less than 50µm with ex- cellent results. Significant improvements have
been engineered into the new Cee 1300CSX debonder design to include: precision lower platen z-position con- trol; programmable electronic lift pins (loading/unloading); compact footprint; flexible substrate sizes; constant force mode; data logging;
and excess force sensing. Contact: Brewer Science, Inc.,
