Agreement with Vishay St. Paul, MN — Wilbrecht LEDCO, Inc., a subsidiary of Microprecision Elec- tronics SA, has signed a new agreement with Vishay® Precision Group to ex- tend its Precision Center relationship and add surface mount device (SMD) products to the existing through-hole foil resistors product line. Under the agreement, both companies will promote Wilbrecht LEDCO as an official Pre- cision Center for bulk metal foil resistors. The manufacturing plant, located in Huron, SD will be able to provide trimmed resistors to the precise value or- dered with a tolerance of 0.005 percent for through-hole and 0.01 percent for SMD products in less than five days in smaller quantities and selected values to domestic customers. Unique to Vishay Precision Foil resistors is the ability to provide any value with very close tolerance. Wilbrecht LEDCO’s QPL-cer- tified manufacturing plant has been trimming and testing bulk foil resistors for over 15 years for demanding military and aerospace applications.
