Sarah Watson Customer Service Representative

team at Plastribution continues to involve building close relationships with its customers, accurately raising sales orders and invoicing in a timely and professional manner.

Alison Battison, Direct Sales Supervisor for Plastribution says that “from the very first day Sarah has conducted herself with great maturity and professionalism. Looking back it is hard to believe that she entered the business last year at just 18 years of age. She has immediately made an impact – achieving over 6% in volume sales growth in the target speciality area in the last financial year.”

This hard-working and successful performance has meant that Sarah has grasped this opportunity with both hands. At the same time she has excelled at her college work and is way ahead of the schedule for completing her apprenticeship, which is likely to be in twelve months instead of the usual eighteen months.

and has very quickly become a valued member of the team.

A 19 year old apprentice, after completing her A-levels at Ashby School, Sarah decided she wanted to pursue a career with a local business whilst being able to study for an advanced (Level 3) apprenticeship in Business and Administration at Loughborough College.

Closely mentored from the start, Sarah’s current role in the Direct Sales

Sarah has quickly become an integral member of the team and is very well organised and structured in all aspects of her job. She builds strong relationships with the company’s key accounts and customers, and these skills, along with the structured induction programme and product training provided by Plastribution, ensure that Sarah has the skills to communicate and assist its customers to the very best of her ability.

“On the basis of our success so far and the potential for continued growth, we wanted to reinforce the

team with new members that could help with this growth. Sarah fits the bill perfectly,” says Plastribution Managing Director Mike Boswell, “and we are very fortunate to have her as part of our business. She is an absolute credit to the younger generation of today and clearly demonstrates a degree of maturity well beyond her years.

Furthermore, she has understood what qualities are required to be a highly effective member of our team, and has rapidly earned both respect of colleagues and customers alike.

I am really pleased that we can support Sarah’s further education and anticipate that she will develop a strong career with us.

In my opinion Sarah demonstrates outstanding capability and on that basis I am pleased that she can compete with the industry’s best apprentices for the coveted title of “Apprentice of the Year”.

“We shall all be rooting for her at this year’s ceremony!”
