equipment manufacturers in the railway sector, to train operators and aftermarket customers.

Its latest developments are two new sintered friction materials that are designed for medium duty applications. FER6251 is a friction material that is best suited to applications up to 200km/h, such as passenger coach vehicles and locomotives.

The other material, FER6202, is suitable for high speed trains up to 300km/h.

Trains are carrying heavier loads, travelling faster and further between service intervals, increasing the need for sintered friction
