InnoTrans Convention T


he InnoTrans Convention provides a platform for industry professionals to


discuss the latest issues in rail and to attend a series of in-depth quality lectures presented by experts through a variety of forums.


The event kicks off with an opening ceremony from 10am until 11.30am on September 18. Raimund Hosch, president and CEO of event organisers Messe Berlin GmbH will give an opening address, followed by Siim Kallas, vice president of the European Commission and Commissioner for Transport with an introductory statement to the conference.


The ceremony includes a panel discussion between Kallas, Dr Peter Ramsauer (Germany’s federal minister of transport, building and urban affairs), Jürgen Fenske (president of the VDV, the Association of German Transport Companies), Dr Rüdiger Grube (CEO of Deutsche Bahn AG), Henri Poupart- Lafarge (President of Alstom Transport S.A.), André Navarri (President of Bombardier Transportation) and Dr Hans-Jörg Grundmann (CEO Division Rail Systems, Siemens AG).


The Dialog Forum is being held at the Entrance North and is organised by the German Transport forum, the VDV (Association of German Train Companies), UNIFE (Association of European Rail Industry) and VDB (German Railway Industry Association).

Exhibitors can rent the corner for an hour to present information regarding their company, which all trade visitors can attend free of charge.
