AdoptSMT Group Distributing Count On Tools Nozzles in Europe

Grodig bei Salzburg, Austria — Count On Tools has appointed AdoptSMT Europe GmbH as its dis- tributor for all of Europe. AdoptSMT will be responsible for COT’s com- plete range of replacement parts for the SMT industry including vacuum nozzles for pick-and-place machines. Count On Tools develops and

manufactures a large variety of spe- cial nozzles for LEDs and gripper nozzles for odd form components like connectors. The portfolio also includes standard nozzles with or without ceramic tips that are com- patible with OEM nozzles. The noz- zles are available for all major pick- and-place brands including Siplace, Fuji, Panasonic, Assembléon/ Yama - ha, Universal Instruments, Hitachi and Mydata. LED applications are among

the fastest growing sectors of the electronics industry. In addition to status LEDs, development effort is now focusing on displays, automotive industry and object lighting. As the surface of the LED typically isn’t flat due to optical and cost constraints, standard pick-and-place nozzles are unsuitable and special LED nozzles are required for this dynamic sector.
