Global Marketing Manager Billerica, MA — Orpro Vision has appointed Ken Lunde to Global Marketing Manager. In this capacity, Mr. Lunde will manage and coordinate all market- ing activities for the company. He brings to this new position many years of experience with AOI and SPI — first as an engineer and Technical Manager, and then his experience as a Sales Manager for Orpro. As a part of organiza- tional restructuring, the company has promoted of Ramon Hernandez to Re- gional Sales Manager. Enrique Gomez has accepted the challenge as Nation- al Sales Manager.
Torsten Pelzer Named to Head Up
Viscom Sales Duluth, GA— Viscom AG has appointed Torsten Pelzer to the position of Gener- al Sales Manager. Effective January 1, 2012, he took control of worldwide sales activities for the company. Prior to this appointment, Pelzer led European sales at Viscom, an area that he continually and successfully expanded. This role pro- vided him with years of experience in supporting customers within the electron- ics industry. In his new position, he assumes operative responsibility for the com- pany’s entire product range, taking over from Executive Board Member Volker Pape, who had undertaken this activity on a temporary basis.
Thomas Herz Appointed to Technical
Director at SEHO Kreuzwertheim, Germany — SEHO Systems GmbH has appointed Thomas Herz Technical Director for the Selective Soldering Department. Mr. Herz had been manager of the Global Process Team at SEHO since mid 2005. In this po- sition, he was responsible for leading an international, globally operating team of specialists for the selective, reflow and wave soldering process depart- ments, and helping customers to optimize their operations. In the newly-cre- ated post of Technical Director, Thomas not only will coordinate the Global Process Team, but is assuming responsibility for the entire technical area in the selective soldering systems segment and is thus responsible for the cre- ative development.

Retire, Succeeded by Mark Adams Boise, ID— Micron Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: MU) President and Chief Oper- ating Officer (COO) D. Mark Durcan, , will be retiring at the completion of Mi- cron’s current fiscal year at the end of August 2012. Mr. Durcan joined Micron in 1984 and was named the company’s Vice President of Research and Devel- opment and Chief Technology Officer in June 1997. He was appointed COO in February 2006 and as the company’s President in June 2007. Mark W. Adams, the company’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales, will
succeed Mr. Durcan as President and Chief Operating Officer upon Mr. Dur- can’s retirement. Mr. Adams had been the Chief Operating Officer of Lexar Media, Inc. (Lexar) when Micron acquired Lexar in June 2006. He was ap- pointed as Micron’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales in July 2008. Mr. Adams holds a bachelor’s in Economics from Boston College and a master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Mass Design Names Steven St. Pierre
Quality Control Manager Nashua, NH— Steven St. Pierre has recently joined Mass Design Inc. as Qual- ity Control Manager, where he is overseeing all product and process quality standards as well as administering the company’s International Standards Organization (ISO) program. This includes administering the ISO audits nec- essary to maintain the company’s certification in medical, aerospace, defense and other industrial sectors. St. Pierre, who holds an AS degree in Computer Systems from Daniel
Webster College, began his career in the PCB industry in 1978. Prior to join- ing Mass Design, he was with Setra Sensing Solutions, Boxborough, Massa- chusetts, a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated monitoring and meas- uring equipment used in medical, environmental, energy and meteorological applications. St. Pierre’s earlier positions include quality control and ISO management representative positions with Sanmina Corp. in Nashua, New Hampshire and other PCB manufacturers.
