www.us-tech.com CelsiStrip® CelsiPoint® Temperature Recording Labels
Apply & Forget Until You Inspect!
A combination of 40 temperature levels is available between
+105°F (40°C) and +550°F (260°C). Accuracy ±1,5 %.
Once exposed above their specific tem- perature switch levels, the original white sensitive spots will turn permanently black. Provides positive proof of exceeded tem- perature levels in warranty discussion.

The CelsiStrip® (CS) held by its self-adhesive backing to a car's hydraulic brake cylinder clearly proofs that during experimental brake tests the outer sur- face had reached a maximal temperature level of 54°C. The original white tem- perature levels unchanged, those temperatures had not been reached. The Celsi® temperature sensing labels can set up within minutes a depend- able, easy to apply and low cost temperature measuring / recording tool.
The Micro-CelsiStrip® (CSM) applied to the IC pack surface shows the white thermal sensible spots 60°C and 71 °C permanently (irreversible) blackened. This is a docu- mented proof that these two temperature levels had been exceeded in the past. The still white 82°C and 93°C have not been exposed to their specific switch levels.

How to Use:
With hot iron tip gently press 3S-Wick® end on the solder deposit to be removed. The solder should melt instantaneously by the heat stored in tip's thermal mass. 3S-Wick® is not a low mass wick. 3S-Wick® balanced thermal mass dampens temperature shocks potentially damaging heat sensitive components. Tempera- ture rise is gradually. Capillary forces then draw the melting solder into the wick. To expose fresh desoldering capacity cut off solder saturated wick end.
