This painting instruction program is for those with little or no prior painting experience! Let instructor Norm Siegel guide you through all necessary steps, from mixing colors to applying paints to your canvas. He will help you develop a painting technique that reflects you, as simple or as complex as you desire. Can’t draw? No problem! Learn techniques that will assist you in the entire creative process. A small class size means lots of individual help. Intermediate students are also welcome with advanced instruction given at your level. Instructor will contact new students about materials. Adult Painting —


Individual instruction in a classroom setting for beginning, intermediate and advanced students.


Find your niche with the guidance of a professional artist. Paint realism, abstract or anything in between working one- on-one with the instructor to meet your individual needs. Learn how to put more drama and impact in your paintings. Understanding the value of highlights and shadows will allow you to paint with passion as never before. Fun Friday Night Ceramics —


A night out for kids and parents! Participants can come and make one of the suggested projects, make their own creation or try their hand at the potter’s wheel. Adult Ceramics Studio —


An open workshop for all levels, this class is designed to provide beginners with full instruction on hand building and potter’s wheel while allowing advanced students freedom to work on their own. Drawing is a foundation level, step-by- step program to introduce students to the various aspects of drawing expression. Visual concepts taught will include line, shape/form, space, value and composition. Use a variety of drawing mediums including pencil, graphite stick, charcoal, conte and ink. Emphasis will be placed on direct observation through classroom set-ups and still life problems. The instructor will present master drawings from the history art. All levels are welcome. DAY/TIME Watercolor I & II —


Watercolor is a beginning level course that systematically moves students through exercises of color mixing, brush and paint application, wash, transparency and glazing. Through exercises and direct observation of still life set-ups, students explore the concepts of line, shape/form, space, color, value, movement, composition and painterly expression. At the instructor’s discretion, students will be divided into beginning, intermediate and advanced groups with appropriate exercises at each level.
