2012 Spring Dance Recital
Ballet, Ballet/Jazz, Hip Hop, Poms, Tap and Jazz classes will perform in the spring dance recital May 13.
The dance program at Park Center provides students of all ages and abilities a high-quality dance education. Students will learn proper technique while increasing self-esteem.
All of our instructors are highly trained dancers who have extensive teaching and performing experience.
Dance Class Attire
> Creative Movement, Pre Ballet, Ballet/Tap Leotard, tights and ballet shoes
> Boy’s Attire
Comfortable pants or shorts, T-shirt, jazz or ballet shoes (or bare feet) Dance Class Descriptions
Creative Movement (ages 3-4 yrs.) Instructors encourage students to use their imaginations while learning basic principles of body and spatial awareness, alignment, rhythm and an overall feel for music. MAX/MIN: 10/5
Ballet/Tap (ages 4-5 yrs.) Students will spend time learning the basic principles of ballet as well as the fun and lively moves of tap dance. Equal time will be spent on both forms of dance. Ballet and tap shoes required. MAX/MIN: 10/5
Pre-Ballet (ages 5-6 yrs.) The next step for children who have completed sessions of Creative Movement classes, Pre-Ballet is designed to continue the principles taught in Creative Movement while increasing time spent on basic ballet technique. MAX/MIN: 10/5
