Lessons

The Tennis Club offers three sessions of indoor tennis lessons for children and adults throughout the indoor tennis season as well as a summer session. Our experienced teaching professionals customize their teaching styles to make certain all students get the most from their lesson experience.

> Youth and Junior Lesson Format. Our Youth instruction starts with the QuickStart Tennis program for ages 3-10. Quick Start Tennis is tailored to younger ages and sizes and designed to get your child playing tennis almost immediately. Our Junior format features more categories and levels which means your child can play and learn with those closer to his or her own age.

> Adult Group Lessons are available for beginners (Level 8) through advanced (Level 1) players as well as a Tenni-Fit class which uses tennis to promote a more strenuous workout and aerobic fitness

> Private or Semi-Private Lessons. Half-hour or one hour lessons are available by contacting Dorothy Carlson, Adult Coordinator, at (224) 521-2152.

Pot Luck Tennis —

Our Pot Luck Tennis programs are a great alternative to league matches. Play is on Saturdays from 12-2 pm. Pot Luck Tennis is organized in a non- competitive atmosphere that emphasizes fun, fitness and the social benefits of tennis. It consists of three 40-minute rounds of doubles play. Members receive priority in registration and may register Mon.-Fri. of the week preceding play. Fees for the 2011/2012 season are $20/members and $22/non-members.

2012-2013 Permanent Court Time Lottery — April 19

For those wishing to play at the same time on the same court from week to week, a limited number of court times are available to be purchased on a permanent basis. Selection of these times is done through a lottery which is open to Glenview residents who have purchased a 2012-2013 season membership.

The deadline for purchasing a membership and turning in a lottery application is April 6.

For detailed information on permanent court time rules and available times, call (847) 724-1570.

Adult Indoor Leagues —

Fall indoor leagues are organized in May for the upcoming fall session. Tryouts for new participants will be held in Spring and Fall 2012. A $60 deposit for the fall in house leagues is due by April 30. To participate, you must renew your membership for next season. For more information, call (847) 724-1570.
